We are progressing with preliminary investigations for the potential redevelopment of Delamore Retirement Community. Because Delamore is your home, we want to ensure your peace of mind throughout this process. Our commitments to you:

We are still in the early stages of this process, a Development Application has not yet been lodged with Council. The specialist design team we have engaged is still investigating the feasibility of the potential redevelopment and exploring staging options.
The consultation we are currently facilitating is not part of a formal process, it is an Ozcare initiative to undertake best practice engagement with residents along every step of this process. If the project progresses, following Council approval, detailed design and approval from the Ozcare Board, there will be a formal, statutory resident meeting and vote as required by the Retirement Villages Act 1999 (QLD).
There will be multiple opportunities to stay updated with the latest information as investigations progress, we encourage you to attend resident forums and workshops. Additionally, we have included a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section on this webpage which addresses key aspects about the potential redevelopment and questions we have been asked to date.
We will continue to keep this webpage updated as well as share updates via email and in-person through meetings and printed materials where feasible.
